Giving Back

Hope everyone has had a great weekend! I'm definitely not ready to start the week. Anyways, I've been trying to figure out a way to give to the community or an organization the past few weeks. A few days ago at PWOC they were talking about the Agape Pregnancy Center in Fayetteville. Years ago it used to be an abortion clinic :( But a little while ago a Pastors wife took it over and made it into a place where young women can come in and instead of getting an abortion they get counciled, meals, and $150-200 dollars worth in baby supplies. I finally found the place I wanted to give to! So last Thursday I went and bought laundry hampers, which by the way they use as baby beds for the babies, And a bunch of baby supplies! It felt so good to give to a good cause!! When I was there they showed me around and one of the things that stuck out to me was the tree of life. They had a bunch of pictures of babies on the wall with a tree painted behind it. They were all babies that would have been aborted if they hadn't walked in The pregnancy center. See, young girls still mistakenly go in there thinking its an abortion clinic. When they walk in Miss Hellen(director of the center) takes them to a room and counsels with them and tells them what the clinic really is. Most of the girls walk out of there keeping the babies, which is so awesome! If you'd like to help out or donate you can always email me at Hannah.lewis23@yahoo.com Enjoy your week!!

Just Another Tuesday

Hey everybody! Hope you all are having a great week so far! And yep, today is just another Tuesday which is usually boring, but since you don't know what I do on my Tuesdays I thought you might wanna know(and hopefully it won't be boring). First of all we get up around 7 in the morning to head to PWOC. PWOC is for military wives, and it stands for Protestant Women Of The Chapel. It's a Bible study that splits up into small groups for discussion and fellowship. We have a young teen girls Bible study that meets and is actually a lot of fun :) After PWOC we go to our ukulele lessons. Sometimes we go to the commissary too after our ukulele lessons. And it's so much fun! Yeah, not really. it's terrible!!!
The commissary is on military bases for military families only. It's like a giant grocery store that's 9 miles long! Ok I'm kidding, but really it does take forever to grocery shop there! And after our ukulele lessons today we went to hangout with some friends at the mall for a couple hours :) Well that's about it for our Tuesdays! Have a good rest of the week!!

Step 1

Well today is the day. The day we put our house up for sale :( The time here at Ft. Bragg has flown by. We've been so blessed to be here almost 4 years! Usually military families are in one spot for about 2-3 years. I never would've thought that I would love it so much!! Our next move is to Ft. Jackson, SC for 6 months. My dad has a school to take, and then  after he graduates we'll be moving somewhere else for another 2-3 years! Sound confusing?! That's cause it is! It really is gonna suck because next year I'll be a senior, and now I won't be able to go to school. It would be just a little too hard to try and go to two different schools in one year.
I also won't get to play volleyball either, which I'm super bummed about! Hopefully everything will fall into place shortly so I can feel a little more at ease! I'm a person who hates not knowing what's ahead of them. I like to know EVERYTHING! Haha anyways.....that's all I got for now! I'll keep you all updated on everything :) Hope you have a blessed day!!
